Had lunch with my board members BZ, ML, and HG at Town Restaurant (The Fullerton Singapore, 1 Fullerton Square, Singapore 049178) mid October. We had a table by the window which offered a wonderful view of Singapore River. I had the lunch buffet which was high in quality. There's sashimi, a carving station, and a good dessert table. The most memorable was the made-to-order pan-seared scallops, which were juicy and succulent.

Had lunch with RK and WG at Edogin Japanese Restaurant (Basement, Hotel Mulia Senayan, Jl Asia Afrika Senayan, Jakarta 10270, Indonesia). We took the lunch buffet. The spread was average, and RK said the dinner spread is much better. After a couple of rounds, I didn't find anything interesting and so focused on the sashimi instead, which comprises the usual salmon, tuna, and snapper. The grilled cod here doesn't taste like cod at all, and I suspect it is catfish rather than cod.
