Mei Jiang, The Peninsula Hotel, Bangkok, Thailand
Had lunch with family at Mei Jiang (The Peninsula Hotel, 333 Charoen Nakorn Road, Klongsan, Bangkok 10600). This is a nice quiet Chinese restaurant on the "other" side of the Chao Phraya River. Some say it is on the "right" side, and some say it is on the "wrong" side, depending on how you look at it. We had dim sum for lunch, all of which were quite good. The abalone rice in lotus leaves is also nice. The boat ride crossing the Chao Phraya River from The Oriental to The Peninsula Hotel is short but enjoybale.
